Bro Obuah takes a glorious bow as Rivers State PDP gets new Executives

The Rivers state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has yesterday inaugurated new executives that will pilot its affairs within the state for the next four years.

This new executives were elected suring the state congress conducted in March 2020, by Bro Felix Obuah and his team.

The newly inaugurated executives will be led by Amb. Desmond Akawor, and others.

The ceremony which held in the Obi wali convention center witnessed turn out from members of the PDP within and outside the state.

During the inauguration, the governor, reminded the incoming chairman Amb. Desmond Akawor that he is stepping into a big shoe and tasked him to ensure that they keep up with the good legacy of his predecessor Bro Obuah. If you can recall since the emergence of Bro Obuah, the party has been a force, we hope that you will bring us more victories.

Bro obuah in his inaugural speech, recounted all there trials and triumphs within and outside the state, he also promised to support the incoming chairman and his team. In his words “We came, we saw and we won all, under my leadership we have won almost all elections conducted in the state. The new chairman Amb. Desmond Akawor assured party faithfuls that he is ready for the task ahead and that him and his team will start by reconciling all grievances that may have arose as a result of the just concluded congresses.

Bro Felix A. Obuah who rose to power after a series of legal battle with the past administration, has in many ways proven to the world that the People’s Democratic Party Rivers state chapter, is one of the greatest political division in the history of political parties, some of his victories includes winning the governorship election twice, three senate seats, more than five house of representative members, all 23 local government council chairmen, almost all the seats at the state house of assembly, the party’s National chairman, hosting the party’s last presidential election primaries in the state and so many other glorious moments.
