The Only Reason Buhari May Accept Defeat Tomorrow – APC

The All Progressive Congress, APC, has made known the only circumstance that will prompt its Presidential Candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari to concede defeat in the Presidential Election set to take place tomorrow, Saturday 23, February 2019.

Addressing Newsmen on Thursday, Deputy Director General of APC campaign council, Mr. Waziri Bulama said that Buhari will only accept defeat if the election is one by another presidential candidate in a Free, Fair and Credible platform.

Waziri said that if Buhari wins the election, which he (Waziri) believes Buhari will most likely win, then they can only congratulate Nigerians, However if the election is won by the candidate of another party, then President Buhari will also call and congratulate the candidate but that is if only the results were free, fair and credible.

Further, the APC staunchman said that, if President Buhari wins the election, its only more burden on him, noting that President Buhari has tried his best for the country and only wants to continue what he has started.

In a nutshell, what Waziri means is that if President Buhari is declared winner of the elections tomorrow, then it will be fine by the APC and they will congratulate Nigerians for re-electing him but if another candidate of some other party is declared Winner, in a setting which the APC perceives as been biased then Buhari will not step down.
