The Federal Bureau of intelligence (FBI) In America has released a list of 79 people from different parts of the world, who have been accused of cybercrimes related offences.
The list according to a post on the FBI’s official website is made up of 37 Arabs, 20 Chinese, 16 Russians, 6 Nigerians and others.
The 6 Nigerians in the list includes; Alex Afolabi Ogunshakin, (also known as Alex Afolabi), Richard Izuchukwu Uzuh, Felix Osilama Okpoh (also known as Felix Okpoh, “Junior”, Felix Osilama), Nnamdi Orson Benson (also known as “Namo”), Michal Olorunyomi (aka Ayomide Micheal, “Ayo”, “A.Y”). And Abiola Ayorinde Kayode (also known as “ABK”, “Ginger”, Abiola Kayode)
According to the FBI, the 6 Nigerians were involved in “Business Email Compromise” (BEC) scheme, and they have so far defrauded over seventy different businesses in the United States, resulting to a combined losses of over 6 million dollars.
