Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers state has charged Christians across the country to express their franchise as elections approach.
Governor Wike made the call during a combined Sunday service, at the Deeper Life Camp Ground, Rumuodara, Port Harcourt on Sunday 10 February, 2019.
He said that by refusing to vote, the Christians are also liable if bad leaders run affairs in the country.
Wike asked the Christians to vote during the forthcoming elections, telling them that by refusing to vote, bad leaders may emerge and thereby making them (the Christians) responsible for evil.
He further reiterated that their votes can effect change positively during the polls.

He further said that no body who is in support of violence is permitted to support his re-election bid.
Governor Wike alleged that security agencies are conspiring to cause mayhem in the country and that such plots would be aborted and the state would triumph.
He further told the Christians that the only way to perfect their call for good leadership is to express their franchise.
As you may know, Presidential elections across the country will be held on February 16, followed by House of Reps and National Assembly elections.
