Spokesman of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization, Buba Galadima has revealed that he is still a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, a party he helped form in the build up to the 2015 elections.
Galadima said this while opining to the title used to introduce him on Channels Television Election Program; The Verdict, on Thursday.
The ex-ally of President Buhari was introduced as the Spokesman for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, reacting to the introduction tag, Galadima said he is not a member of the People’s Democratic Party.
He narrated that he is not just a member of the All Progressive Congress but the national chairman of a faction of the party; the Reformed All Progressive Congress (R-APC).
Galadima went on to explain that the R-APC had a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the PDP to produce a candidate that will take Nigeria forward.
He also said if any body is not comfortable with his support for the PDP then such person should show him were it is contrary to the statutes of Nigeria.
In his words:
“You have just opined that I have left the APC and I don’t think that is correct.
“I am the National Chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC),” Galadima said.
You may recall that Galadima was President Buhari’s bone-man, right from 2003 when Buhari first contested for presidency.
Things went soil between the two men, and on August 2, 2018 Galadima came out to say that those leaving the APC (including himself) were only honest Nigerians.
