Seria A Top Scorer 2019

Christiano Ronaldo was the Top Scorer and Top Assister of Serie A as of February 2019. This is after the former Real Madrid star swapped allegience to Juventus.

The Ace Forward had on Friday evening stepped up his goal stat in the Seria A to 19 goals after leading a 3:0 win for Juventus over Frosinone.

Ronaldo seems to be putting in all efforts to assure the Juve that the  100 million euros ($117.34 million)  spent on getting his services for a four-year contract ain’t in vain.

Although Ronaldo’s move from the ‎Los Blancos attracted loads of criticism from some fans, it didn’t taint the performance of the Portuguese still staying on top of his game.

On Friday, he played a key role as Juventus increased  their domination to a whooping 14 points. As the game launched that Friday, Ronaldo put up Paulo Dybala to open the score box in just six minutes, now that did raise the assist bar for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo also assisted Leonardo Bonnuci’s goal still for the Juve at the 17th Minute. He only came into spot light in the match when he fired a low shot from the edge of the box, which hit the net at exactly the 63rd minute.

Max Allegri, Juventus Manager then satisfactorily substitute former Man Utd star, probably putting to consideration the teams Champions League match against Atletico Madrid in between the week.

Ronaldo’s sporadic achievement since he joined Juventus may not come as  a surprise to many considering that he always shown his ability in the Premier League and La Liga.

Also, its worthy to re-iterate that Ronaldo is leading side-by-side as goal-assists topper in the Seria – A league, with 8 credits ascribed to him on that.

So, with this achievements, Ronaldo is just one goal short of making hitting his 20th goal in the Seria – A alone.

However, as of May 2019, the Metrics changed, Fabio Quagliarella; Sampdoria’s forward is topping the chart with 26 goals, 8 assists, 121  minutes per goal, 3133  minutes played and 50% shots on target (May 22, 2019)

He is followed by Duván Zapata; Atalanta’s striker who has 22 goals, 8 assists, 128  minutes per goal, 2809  minutes played and 57% shots on target to his credit. (May 22, 2019).
