APC Reacts to Postponed Election, Make Claims Against INEC

Ruling All Progressives congress has condemned the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission to post pone the presidential and national assembly elections from today, 16 February 2019 to next week Saturday.

This was made via the spokesperson of President Buhari’s re-election Council, Festus Keyamo. Keyamo hinted that INEC may be bowing to pressures by opposition PDP who he claims are not prepared for the election.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said that clear demographic predictions reveal that President Buhari will win the polls but that INEC may be bowing to PDP’s pressure, noting that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, only need time to slow the pace of President Buhari.

Arctic Reporters had previously reported that INEC has shifted the elections from today till next week and also those for the gubernatorial race till march 9.

Furthermore, Keyamo said that the announcement of the rescheduling of the election came as a shock to his party and that supporters of the party across the country are disappointed by the move.

He said that his principal, President Buhari had promptly made all that is necessary for the election available and wondered why the elecotral umpire would still postponed electrons
