The African Alliance Congress, AAC on has reacted to the victory of governor Nyesome Wike in the just concluded collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Reacting on Wednesday 3, March 2019, the AAC party agent, Mr Chukwunenye Kocha, said that his party will would understudy the results before taking any decision.
Furthermore, he stated that his party stands for peace and urged Rivers People to and other political parties to ensure orderliness.

As you may know, Governor Nyesome Wike was on yesterday, March 3, 2019 declared winner of the March 9, governorship election in the state.
Wike polled a total of 886,264 votes, to defeat his closest rival from the AAC, Mr Biokpomabo Awara, who scored only 173,859 votes.

The total number of registered voters was 3,048,741, accredited voters 1,130,445, valid votes cast 1,102,823, total votes cast=1,123,840 and voided votes, 249,324.
