Nigeria will witness governorship and state houses of assembly elections tomorrow Saturday, 9 March 2019.
However, seven states across the Federation plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, will not experience elections.
Theses states include:
Anambra;
Bayelsa;
Edo;
Ekiti;
Kogi;
Ondo and
Osun.
The reason for the exemption is because the states above have already witnessed their governorship elections at different times.

Mostly, this is caused by different court judgments at these previous times which nullified their governorship elections.
Notwithstanding, the State Houses of Assembly elections will hold across all the 36 states of the Federation.
Be informed that The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, will not witness both elections because it is administered by a minister, who is appointed by the President, this is with the backing of the National Assembly.
