The presidency has debunked rumours making the round that vice president Yemi Osinbajo has rescinded his office as the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Today, February 21, 2019, Nigerians woke to the rumours flying around that Osinbajo has resigned his office. Reacting to the story, President Buhari’s aide on New Media, Bashir Ahmad tweeted that its fake news.
The fake reports on social media said that Osinbajo threatened to step aside because he was neglected in the security meeting which held on Wednesday between President Buhari and Security chiefs.
