The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has called on the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai to desist from moves that make the Army appear to be siding a political party.
In a message by the spokesperson of the opposition party, Kola Ologbondiyan, he asked the Chief of Army staff not to
drag the Army into politics.
He also asked the COAS to refrain from actions that are capable of suggesting in any manner that the military has become an arm of a political party.
Furthermore, Ologbondiyan stated that in the end, posterity will judge everyone hence the Army chief should be careful. He ended his message by saying that what is before Nigerians is an election not war.
