Why Chima Ikwunado, Ikoku4 Matter, Has not been concluded- Rivers Police Spokesman!!!

The lock-down caused by the Corona Virus pandemic has been blamed for the delay in dispensing justice in the alleged murder of Chima Ikwunado and brutality of his colleagues by Police officers attached to the Eagle Crack Team.

Rivers Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Nnamdi Omoni  disclosed this when he appeared as a guess in a radio programe.
He said the Ikoku4 matter is receiving serious attention but proceedings has been very slow due to the lock-down. “According to him, Everything about Chima Ikwunado’s matter has been concluded. The new Commissioner of Police will address the press on its outcome very soon.

Recall that the Civil Society in the state had dragged the Police Command to court after it failed to make public the result of the autopsy conducted on the body of the late Ikwunado in February.

Although the new Police Commissioner, Joseph Mukan during a meeting with officials of the Rivers State Coalition of Civil Society Organizations promised to expedite action on the matter and ensure the victims receive the justice they deserve.
