Ishaku Elisha Abbo was born in Mubi North, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian politician. Elisha is the senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in Adamawa State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly. Abbo is currently a member of All Progressives Congress (APC). In 2019, he dumped the people’s democratic party for the All progressive congress
Following a video interview, senator ishaku Elisha displayed his displeasure on the Muslim-muslim ticket accepted by the APC members. He has asked that the presidential candidate of the All progressive congress apologize to the christians.

Recall that the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu picked Kashim Shettima as a running mate amidst the disapproval of most members of the political party.
As a result of his actions, some people dumped the party. Including the veteran Nollywood Actor Kenneth Okonkwo. This action by the APC have triggered the members into believing that their opinions are not relevant.
Speaking on AIT focus news, senator Elisha Abbo erred his opinion on the Muslim-muslim presidential ticket. He said it is insulting for the presidential candidate to say there are no competent Christians in the part to represent as the vice president. According to him;
“It is insulting for Tinubu to say there is no competent Christian from the north to be his Vice President. It’s an insult and Tinubu needs to apologize to Christians” -Sen Elisha Abbo
