Senator Rochas Okorocha the Former Governor of Imo State and the senator representing the good people of Imo West Senatorial district, has exposed the main reason why Igbo leaders are not coming out to speak against Nnamdi Kanu, he said it’s because they do not want to incur the wrath of their youths.
According to the Federal law maker who was filling questions from BBC Hausa, many of the South East elders are not in support of Nnamdi Kanu and his agenda, but they are only trying to be on the safe side. He went further to say that the leaders are trying to avoid losing their kids if they come out to say their minds. “A lot of people are scared, you might say something and get your child killed.” he said.

Okorocha went ahead to blame the lack of employment for being responsible for security challenges in the region. “Most of the people doing these things, when you look at them you can’t say they have a profession, they are not considered as a threat.” said the Senator.
