Youths drawn from across the 36 states of the federation who were beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programme, N-Power, took to the streets of Abuja yesterday, Wednesday 7, February 2019 to canvass support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid.
As you may know,The NPower programme was established sometime around Jun 9, 2016 in Nigeria with the view of fostering productivity through skill development and valuable knowledge sharing and acquisition for economic growth and social development.

The campaign rally tagged, Rave for Buhari: Energising the FCT 4 Next Level, saw the beneficiaries rallying from Area One Roundabout through the All Progressives Congress campaign office in Central area to the Old Parade Ground, all in Abuja.
Some of the beneficiaries told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that their decision to re-elect president Buhari on Saturday 16, February 2019 when elections will be held across the country is so that he can CONOLIDATE on the good works he has begun.
An N-Power beneficiary under the N-Agro, Cooperative Department, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Mr. Abdulwasiu Akanbi, said, “I am here to appreciate Buhari for creating jobs and empowering many of the youths in the country.”

Another beneficiary, Mr Ambrose Egwari, a teacher at Galadimawa Primary School, said that the programme had improved the standard of education in the country.
