Two butchers have been arrested in Ado, capital of Ekiti state, for allegedly stabbing a barber, Ajibola Falegan, at a viewing centre in the state.
The suspects were said to have engaged in some sort of hot disagreement with a young man at the viewing centre, before shifting attention to the victim who just arrived at the centre.
The Victim, Falegan, 33, was left with a deep cut in the head and other parts of his body following the attack which happened on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Ado.
Police Spokesperson in the state, Caleb Ikechukwu, confirming the incident said that two of the three suspects involved in the crime were already in police custody.
He said that they would soon be charged to court once investigations into the incident were concluded.
The Police PRO said the victim is currently receiveing medical attention at a private medical centre.
He cautioned that the police command would not condone any form of thuggery and violence withiin the state.
