WWE legend Dwayne Johnson alias The Rock has officially called time on his illustrious wrestling career. The Rock made a name for himself during the WWE Attitude Era days in the 1990s and went on to dominate the game into the 2000s.
Speaking while promoting his latest movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, the iconic wrestler took stock of his hey days in the WWE before announcing the huge bombshell. “I miss wrestling, I love wrestling. Yes, I do,” SunSport quoted The Rock.

“I quietly retired from wrestling because I was lucky enough to have just a really wonderful career and accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, but there’s nothing like a live crowd, a live audience, a live microphone as you both know,” he conceded.

The 47-year-old quit WWE more than a decade ago, but has often made returns to the ring, including two WrestleMania showdowns with John Cena in 2012 and 2013. The eight-time WWE champion last fight was against Erick Rowan at WretleMania 32, where he took just six seconds to defeat the American wrestler.
