Chief Barrister Olisa Osi, also known as Eze-Udhno 1, called on the Rivers State Governor, Siminilaye Fubara-Dssrs, to sheath his swords and reconcile with his predecessor and mentor, the former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON.
Osi emphasized that while Governor Fubara is both a friend and brother to him, the FCT Minister, Wike, is regarded as their boss and father. He urged Governor Fubara to acknowledge the leadership and guidance of Wike for the continued unity and progress of Rivers State.
Barrister Olisa Olisa, while addressing a crowd gathered for a solidarity march in support of the Honorable Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on June 24, 2024, in Omoku, the headquarters of Onelga, called for the people of Onelga to rally behind the Minister.
Olisa praised the Minister, describing him as a devoted supporter of the Onelga people. He highlighted that, according to Olisa Osi, no previous governor of the state had shown as much attention and affection for the Onelga Local Government Area (LGA) as Former Governor Wike did.

He further recounted numerous projects the FCT MINISTER has carried out in the LGA during his tenure as the Governor of the State. He thanked the FCT Minister for availing the LGA, especially for the Deputy Governor position, whom he described as a vital and key position in the decision making of the State.

According to Barrister Olisa Olisa, the Ahoada-EGi-Okposi, Omoku/Egbema Trunk-A Road is a top-notch, major, and strategic project that has distinguished the area among major cities in the nation. He recalled how the road was abandoned after its initial construction by the Former Minister for Works, Sir Victor Igwe Masi, during the administration of former President Shehu Shagari.
Chief Barrister Olisa Osi, a Port Harcourt-based legal practitioner, has an impressive history of service to the Onelga community. He previously served as the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Local Government Area (LGA) for four consecutive terms, demonstrating his dedication to the people of Onelga. Beyond his administrative roles, he has played a crucial part in ensuring peace and security in both Onelga and the broader Rivers State. As a key pioneer and founder of the Onelga Internal Security Outfit, he established a foundation for what has evolved into the State Local Security Services, significantly contributing to the region’s safety and stability.
Finally, Chief Barrister Olisa Osi urged the people of Onelga to disregard those attempting to misrepresent the LGA. He characterized these individuals as political jobbers who do not have the best interests of the state at heart and who are opposed to its peace and stability. He encouraged the community to stay united and support the Honorable Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and other leaders who genuinely care for the well-being and progress of Onelga.
