During his tenure as Chairman of the Bureau of Lands, Kingsley Uju was not involved in Shell Camp land matters. Those issues were handled by Mr. Eberuo, the then Commissioner of Lands. Uju’s role was limited to six months before resigning to pursue his political ambitions. Despite this brief period, his contributions, including the opening of several estates and layouts like Arugo Layout and Avu Junction Layout, are well-documented and verifiable.

The recurrent mention of Kingsley Uju’s name in land matters raises suspicion. Why do certain aides and appointees of the governor persistently associate his name with these controversies? It’s crucial for the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, to investigate who truly owns the disputed property and the motive behind dragging Uju’s name into these matters.

Given the security implications of these baseless allegations, Uju’s media team calls on the Inspector General of Police and the Imo State Commissioner of Police to thoroughly investigate these claims. The truth must be uncovered, not only to clear Uju’s name but also to understand the motives behind these persistent accusations.

Inappropriate Communication Channels
It’s unprecedented for a governor’s appointee to report to him via social media. Such actions not only undermine professional protocols but also raise concerns about the credibility of the reports being presented.

Deceptive Tactics
Some political appointees who have been dismissed by the governor over land-related issues have resorted to using Kingsley Uju’s name as a diversionary tactic to cover up their own nefarious activities. This is why a comprehensive investigation into all land matters associated with Uju Kingsley by the governor’s aides is necessary.

Potential Manipulations

Internal Conflicts
Hon. Pascal Nwakanma, the current Special Adviser on Land Recovery to the governor, was previously an aide to Uju. His continuous involvement in dragging Uju’s name into land matters might be a ploy to gain favor with the governor or to divert attention from his own activities. The governor needs to conduct a thorough investigation to ascertain the truth.

Property Ownership at Central Market
Another claim that requires investigation is the ownership of a hotel at Central Market, also falsely attributed to Uju Kingsley. The governor should uncover the true owner to prevent further misuse of Uju’s name.

Legal Response
In response to these defamatory claims, Uju Kingsley Chima’s legal team has initiated action to address these malicious publications. The aim is to protect his reputation and hold those responsible accountable for their falsehoods.
