Media aides of the Federal Ministry of communication and Digital Economy, has taken to the social media to refute a statement, made against its boss, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami also know as Sheikh Pantami, the Honorable Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, that have been making rounds on social media platform, in a famous blog “Sahara Reporters.” Stating that he has purchased three houses since he resumed office as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to the statement that was made public through its official twitter handle “Our attention has been drawn to a grave falsehood published by a controversial online media, Sahara Reporters against the person of the Honorable Minister Dr Is Ali Pantami. The online media has falsely accused him of procuring three houses within the period of his assumption of office.”
The statement further stated that the honorable Minister has not purchased any real estate properties anywhere in the world, since he resumed office as a Minister.

Why clearing the air about the houses his aides also tweeted this;
For the purpose of setting the records straight, the Honourable Minister has not purchased a single property anywhere In the world, in the period he has been in office as a Minister.

One of the apartments in the images published is one which the Honourable Minister has occupied since January 2017, more than two years before becoming a minister, while the other one is a house he rented since 17th December 2019. Two of the images are not even known to him.

And also tweeted this; “Its worthy of note that the serving Ministers salary and allowances falls below his earnings as a professor at the InternMadinah, University, Madinah, Saudi Arabia where still holds record as the first Nigerian to lecture at that level”.

This is to state categorically that he didn’t return to Nigeria to make money rather he came to contribute his quota for the development of the Nation.
