Heisrema whose full name is Divine Ikubor is a young, talented afrobeats artist who gained preeminence with the release of his hit songs dumebi and corny in March 2019.

Some reports have it that Heisrema was born in 2000, others claim the singer’s date of birth is 2001. He hails from Edo, Benin city in southern Nigeria.

Rema was born into a christian family in Edo state. The talented musician discovered his singing skills at an early age and formed his band at school before he was discovered by Don Jazzy’s younger brother D’prince who went on to introduce him to the Mavin Records boss.

Rema is done with high school but it is unclear if he has gained admission into any institution of higher learning.
