Chief Barr. Osi Olisa has been made aware of criticism from constituents regarding his decision to support Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON instead of the Governor of the State, Sir Siminilaye Fubara-DSSRS. This decision is rooted in love for the people of the LGA and not for any selfish reasons. Furthermore, we cannot afford to put all our eggs in one basket.

It is important to recall that Chief Barr. Olisa Osi not only supported Sir Siminilaye Fubara-DSSRS during his election but also played a significant role as a major campaigner. His involvement had a substantial impact on the election, reigniting the interest of many who had become disheartened.
Let it be on record that Chief Barr. Olisa Osi’s stance is motivated by the interests of the people of Onelga, not political gain. It is important to clearly state that Chief Barr. Olisa Osi is a man whose principles are based on fairness, equity, and justice. He would never compromise the interests of the people of Onelga for selfish or opportunistic reasons. His utmost priority is to ensure the growth and well-being of the community.
Several factors were considered in reaching a decision amidst the political quagmire in the state, and the choice of Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON was both paramount and straightforward. His numerous projects and dedication to the people of Onelga during his tenure as Governor were significant.
First, consider the following:
Our Sister, Professor Mrs. Ngozi Odu: She is currently serving as the Deputy Governor of the State, a position she attained through the singular effort of Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike-CON. His actions demonstrated his love for our people, as he could have allocated this position elsewhere, given the state’s multi-ethnic composition.
Cancer/Cardiovascular Hospital: The only hospital of this kind in the state was built and named in honor of our son, former Governor Sir Dr. Peter Odili.
It is also important to clarify that Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON not only restored the glory of Chief Dr. Peter Odili but also reinstated his dignity after it was nearly ruined by former Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

Omoku/Egbema Road:
This project was awarded and completed by Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON but commissioned by the incumbent Governor. The Governor has acknowledged that the State had fully committed payment to a contractor suggested by our people. Given that this project has been fully paid for, how can we then turn back and blame an innocent former Governor of the State, who acted according to our directives?
Omoku Zonal Hospital:
This project was awarded to one of our own and was fully funded. How can we consciously mislead the people by blaming the Governor when we know who it was awarded to?
Ndoni Shore Protection:
This project was awarded to a contractor from our LGA, one of our illustrious sons and a former Governor. It was fully funded by former Governor Chief Barr. E.N. Wike, yet remains incomplete. These are the people turning around to blame Wike.
Omoku/Kriegan/Obiozimini/Obigbo/Idu Road:
This strategic project was awarded to one of our sons, a former Governor, but was abandoned by the contractor, who now blames Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike-CON. Despite the project’s full funding and its strategic importance, the Governor re-awarded the project to ensure its completion, knowing that probing it would not only affect us but also tarnish the name of our illustrious son.
Given these circumstances, do you now suggest that Chief Barr. E.N. Wike should probe these projects, knowing that such an investigation would inevitably affect us?
