According to Mr Awurum Darlington, an indigene of Imo State, currently living in Singapore, took to his social media page to state that the increased level of insecurity in the Nation, ranging from kidnapping and continuous attack by unknown gunmen within the South and the Middle, could be cited as a reason to postponed the 2023 elections indefinitely. see his full post below;

With the recent Unknown Gunmen Attacks in the South Southern part of Nigeria and Middle-Belt, it should now be clear that IPOB-ESN is not behind these attacks.
Nigeria Security and Intelligence department should now purge themselves off the stereotype mindset and get to work. For as long as they are sitting by, hoping and waiting to peg this thing on ESN, they will never be able unravel those behind these attacks. And for now, it is at their detriment.
There is a very dangerous Cartel in town, it is not a Southeast affair because, with the way it is currently going, not even Abuja will be safe for una number one Citizen.
Only those with either military or police training/ intelligence can successfully attack security formations without fear, because they already understand the level of your morale and the Strength of your logistics and support.
Again, where are the 127 Military Personnel alleged to have absconded from the Nigerian Army between the
#EndSARS period and Bokoharam ambush? No one leaves the Army in such a way, a happy man.
You must run a background check on them, find out where they are and what a good number of them are doing at the moment. They are all scattered all over the country and can unite through a possible sponsorship under one umbrella, for a particular goal or interest.
With the way things are going in the country now, if nothing is done as soon as possible, I don’t think there will be General Elections in Nigeria come 2023.
If, and only if a few Nigerian Politicians and sub-secrete units in the Army or Police are behind these attacks, then there is a huge Political power control conspiracy going on, otherwise, this situation may degenerate into a phase where they will finish with the security formation and face Politicians and their Families.
I am still wondering why Nigeria will be in a big security mess and over 144 Police Personnel will be sent out to another country to enhance their Security. You don’t chase after rats when your house is on fire.
