What PDP plans to Do Next After Losing Election – Presidency

The Presidency has accused the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, of plots to unstable democracy in the  country since they lost the presidential election to the All Progressive Congress.

The claim was made by the senior special assistant to President Buhari on media and publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.

Addressing Newsmen on Thursday evening, Shehu said that claims by the PDP that his party; the APC, plans to cause violence in Taraba state so as to put the cause a ‘state of emergency’ in the forthcoming re-rerun is a lie.

Shehu also stated that the PDP was spreading rumours by saying that the APC plans to rig supplementary elections in Sokoto by using the military to intimidate voters.

“The PDP has been doing everything they can to damage the foundation of the country’s struggling democracy”.

The Senior SSA boasted that in President Muhammadu Buhari, the PDP has seen their match. He said that with the outcome of the February 23 Presidential elections, the PDP has faced their biggest defeat in the fourth republic and are left with no option than attack democracy in the country.
