UK Health and Social care Secretary Resigns after pictures of him breaking social distance guidance surfaced!!!

The pressure to quit intensified when pictures and video of the Health and Social care Secretary Matt Hancock, and aide Gina Coladangelo kissing was released by the sun newspaper.

According to the newspaper publication the pictures were taken on the 6th of May 2021, inside the Department of Health and Social Care complex. Mr Hancock is currently divorced as he ended his 15 years marriage before now, however Gina Coladangelo is still married, both of them have three kids with their spouse.

In his resignation letter he stated that it is the duty of every responsible government to take responsibility of their actions mostly when they have let their people down, knowing that a lot of people have made sacrifices during this pandemic era, they deserve nothing but honesty from those employed to serve them.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson apologized for receiving his resignation; however that is the right thing to do. He was replaced with the former chancellor Sajid Javid, who was honored to be chosen as Matt’s replacement.

  Labor, Tory MPs and Covid-19 Bereaved families for Justice group, earlier before now called on the Prime Minister to sack the health Secretary for breaking the social distancing guidance with his aide.  Report also has it that so many MPs had told their whips that there is need for the Health Minister to resign with immediate effect.
