Bliss and resounding claps filled the air around 3:00 am this morning in Aso Rock, when President Muhammadu Buhari was declared winner of the Presidential Election which held on Saturday 23, February 2019.

In a tweet shared online, the President’s aide on New Media, Bashir Ahmad posted a video showing the President watch the live announcement of results by INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.

The President watched calmly to the T.V and when his name was mentioned as winner of the election, shouts, claps and congratulation filled the air.
