Six hundred Nigerians stranded abroad has been evacuated back home to Nigeria and are presently in isolation centers within Abuja and Lagos.
According to the Minister for foreign affairs, his excellency Geoffery Onyeama, more than six hundred Nigerians have been evacuated back to Nigeria, and we expect more back home in the coming weeks he said.
The evacuation was initiated after the Federal government was notified about stranded Nigerians in the diaspora due to the lockdown orders instituted by foreign countries as a result of the out break of covid-19 pandemic.
