SHOCKING: Bauchi Governor Loses Own Polling Unit to Another Candidate

Governor Muhammed Abubakar of Bauchi and candidate of the All Progressive Congress has lost votes in his own polling units to Bala Mohammed of the People’s Democratic Party.

Votes are currently being counted across polling units in the state.

Announcing the result of the election in the governor’s Gindin Durumi polling unit of Bauchi metropolis, Presiding Officer, Mr. Chinedu Onora, said the governor polled 288 votes, whereas Mr. Bala Mohammed of the PDP polled a total of 358 votes, with a margin of 70 votes to surpass that of Muhammed who is also the APC governorship candidate in the state.

Onuora said the total number of null votes were 59. Joy filled the air after the results were announced. Supporters of the PDP candidate began Jubilationg.
