Senibo Daniel Leggjack, Opobo/Nkoro PDP Chairman Allegedly Dies of Covid-19.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Senibo Daniel Leggjack allegedly died of Covid-19 on Sunday June 8, 2020.
According to a source, Mr. Leggjack had been ill for sometime and was admitted into Braithwaite Memorial Hospital (BMH), Rivers State. He was not attended to for some days therefore, he requested to be transferred elsewhere but was ignored, the source said.
Mr. Leggjack and his family were transported in a vehicle with the intention of taking them to the quarantine center at Ogoni; however, his wife was dropped along the way and told to go home with her son, the source added.
It was later confirmed that he had died and she was not allowed to exhume her husband’s corpse. Mr. Leggjack was buried on Monday at the Port Harcourt Cemetery.
The cause of death is unclear however, the source said it may be been heart failure; he had no symptoms of the virus.
A week ago, it was the PDP chairman of Asari Toru, Mr. Odiari Princewill who (allegedly) died of Covid-19. What do we think about this?? Share your thoughts.
