Meet our personality for the week…

With a personal experience; as number 3 out of 6 children and been left to fend and care
for oneself at a tender age, I fully grasp the despair people face and the lost hope that
emanates into the air. Where others saw it as a failure, I saw a rising star, grass to grace
with the herculean task; supporting causes of ending poverty, protecting the
environment, and been a beacon of hope for the less privileged whiles improving
sustainable livelihoods.
I am an Africa Young Leadership Fellow (2018), Africa Change Maker Fellow (2018). I
hold a degree in Agriculture and an Executive mini MBA Leadership and Management. I
see myself as a continuous learner even with over 65 certificates.

RM team: Challenges faced while growing up and how you overcame.

RM team: What is your life Philosophy?

Staying dedicated and committed to serve humanity gave birth to my life’s core values
and philosophy which are built on Honesty, Integrity, Responsible Citizenship,
Forgiveness and Compassion. These have influenced my professional choices and
development as it has shaped my vision for the future for moral perspectives and ethical
decision-making.

RM team: Who is your role model?

I see our Youth as role models. Why? Because the future us YOUTHFUL. They have
Passion and Ability to Inspire, Commitment to Community, and the ability to rise up to
occasions makes them role model and have my respect.

RM team: Involvement in charity/youth empowerment (if any)

Volunteering and charity works in serving humanity has been my passion. I have served
and continue to serve in many capacity as a Social Advocate. Currently I am the Executive
Head, Research and Development for PLO Foundation Ghana Chapter, Director of
Partnerships and Opportunities, Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in
Africa (YALDA Ghana), Assistant Country Director Ghana for Global Peace Ambassador,
both UNDP Ocean Action and UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub Online Volunteer, . He has
been an avid supporter of the campaign “My Body is My Body”, and UN’s programmes on
“Stopping and Ending Violence against Women”. I have also been a Content Contributor
to The Rumie Initiative, Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Network Member, and
a member of World Youth Alliance just to mention a few.
I am currently the Speaker of Parliament 2nd Assembly, Democracy Africa Youth
Parliament.

RM team: Word for the young ones.

My word will be a quote of Abraham Lincoln, ““Always bear in mind that your own
resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” Embrace the spirit of
volunteerism to serve humanity.

RM team: Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?

It is my future goal to be impactful in duty and higher roles and responsibilities to home
country, the African Continent and on the Global front.

RM team:Worst moment/best moment (if any )

A day I will remember and be joyous about was on May 14, 2019 when I won the keenly
contested election as Speaker of Parliament, 2nd Assembly Democracy Africa Youth
Parliament. The ONLY Ghanaian representative!

RM Team: Passion and Driving force ?

My motivation and passion is been a Change Agent for sustainable development and this
I hold dear in all my dealings and volunteering activities.

I am simply a Social Intrapreneur!
