Pay Quarantine fees, before we can airlift you- Nigerian government tells stranded citizens
Nigerian embassy instructs stranded Nigerian citizens to pay for hotels and food before they can be airlifted back to Nigeria.
According to a letter signed by the head of chancery on behalf on the Nigerian to ambassador to Thailand; all Nigerian Evacuee must pay the sum of 18600 per day for sixteen days (#297,600), before they can be evacuated back to Nigeria.
The aforementioned sum is to be used for their quarantine accomodation space and feeding through out their quarantine period. Read the full letter below:
