The remains of Mrs Beatrice Asama Ohia, the mother of a special adviser to governor Nyesome Wike,Mr. Ohia Prince, will be committed to mother earth on April 6, 2019 in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area in Rivers State.
According to a statement signed by Special Adviser on behalf of Ohia family of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area in Rivers State , there will be service of songs on Friday, April 5 at No 18 Eze-Ohali street, Omoku, Rivers State between 4pm – 6pm.
On Saturday, 6th April, 2019, there will be interment service at St. Stephen’s Primary School Field, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area, Rivers State by 10:00am.
On Sunday, 7th April, 2019 there will be thanksgiving service at Church of God Mission Int’l Inc. Heritage Palace, No. 4 Umu Chikere Street, Obohia Provincial Headquarters, Omoku.
Ohia Prince thanked Omoku people, Rivers People and the Country at large for their support and the outpouring of condolences in the most trying time of the Ohia family.
The statement reads in part, “With gratitude to the Almighty God for a life well spent, I, Ohia Prince, Special Adviser to Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State, on behalf of the Ohia family of Omoku, Rivers State hereby announce the funeral rites of our late dear mother, Mrs. Beatrice Asama Ohia, who passed unto eternal glory at the age of 76.
“I appreciate the enormous and unprecedented outpouring of support and solidarity by way of calls, the numerous condolence visits, letters and others to the family.
“Now that the rains and the unfortunate flood are receding, the families and the communities hereby announce the funeral rites as follows:
“Friday 5th April, 2019 : Service of songs at No. 18 Eze-Ohali Street, Omoku, Rivers State. Time: 4.00pm.
“On Saturday, 6th April, 2019, there will be interment service at St. Stephen’s Primary School Field, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area, Rivers State by 10:00am.
