One of Nigerian’s A list entertainer, known as Tekno has come under fire by the Federal government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, over the video of naked women dancing in his truck in traffic in the Lekki area of Lagos last Friday.
The video of semi-nude women, dancing seductively in a display truck somewhere around Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge in Lagos on Friday night was on Tuesday condemned by the Federal government. The video which has gone viral on the social media, displayed semi-nude ladies dancing in a seductive manner with singer Tekno, in a transparent display van in traffic around the bridge. The video, which was said to be a scene from the singer’s un-released video tittlesd ‘Agege’, in which he figured Co-artist Zlatan.
The video showed the musician dancing with the semi-nude women, spraying them money and hitting the ladies on the buttocks, an act which many Nigerians described as offensive and lustful. However, Tekno spoke about the falsehood of the claim that he was dancing with the semi-nude ladies on his official instagram account on Sunday, he made it clear that the van was used to transport his crew to a location for a video shoot. The provision media systems limited, which was linked to the van has since been suspended by the Lagos State signage and advertisement agency. The federal government said it had commenced an investigation into the incident. They warned that such immorality “must not be allowed to turn Nigeria into a zone for sex and illegal drugs tourism.

Meanwhile, Tekno, his producer and one other in connection with the incident were arrested on Tuesday.
The state police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said that the singer was being questioned at the state criminal investigation and intelligence Department Panti, Yaba over the incident. He said “Tekno and two others have been arrested by the command for conveying half-naked girls at the Lekki area of Lagos. “He Is presently undergoing questioning at the state Criminal investigation and intelligence Department, Panti. “
