Senator representing Kaduna central at the Upper Chambers on the national assembly, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the approval of N30,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
Arctic Reporters reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, April 18, approved N30,000 as the new minimum wage for junior workers in the country.
A former minister of information, Prince Tony Momoh, had on Friday, April 19, said that the new minimum wage would cause chaos in many states of the federation.
But in his reaction, Shehu Sani faulted the claim that the new minimum wage would cause chaos, adding that he would not allow anybody to spoil his celebration over the approval of the new minimum wage.
He said: “Someone is just telling me to stop celebrating new minimum wage, that 30k in 2019 cannot buy what 18k can buy in 2014..I no mind am,he wan spoil my day.”
