Founder of the United Bank for Africa, UBA, Group, Tony Elumelu, has called on Nigerians to double efforts in supporting President Buhari’s second term in office.
The Successful entrepreneur made the call during a congratulatory visit to the president on Friday, 13 April, 2019, in the presidential villa.
In his words:
“Elections are over, let’s all rally round the President and help him to realise those things that are important to him that will define his legacy, the infrastructure, improving access to electricity, road transportation,” .
Commenting on the performance of the Buhari’s administration, Elumelu applauded the the President, stating that the current administration had done well in Agriculture.
However, the business man called on the president to establish infrastructure and engage Nigerian youths in productive ventures, stating that it would go a long way in curbing poverty in the country.
“It’s always good to see how we can create a better society where our young men and women are gainfully engaged,” – he said.
Elumelu also applauded the President on his emergence as winner of the 2019 presidential election, encouraging him to lead with the future at heart.
