JUST IN: Onnoghen Fails To Appear in Court [SEE REASON]

Suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen has failed to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Tuesday 12, February 2019 on health grounds. 

According to His counsel, Adeboyega Awomolo, who tended a letter before the Tribunal, Mr. Onnoghen developed issues with his tooth and was given a 72 hours bed rest by a hospital

Also, the prosecutor,  Aliyu Umar, confirmed that he was also notified via a medical report indicating that the defendant had a high blood pressure.

However, Mr. Aliyu said that he considers the health of Mr. Onnoghen as important as the case he had filed against the suspended Chief Justice but further pressed the court to adjourn the case till next week Monday or another week for a day-to-day hearing.

Drawing his conclusion on the matter, considering the situation of things, the chairman of the Code of Conduct tribunal adjourned the case.
