Imo State Governor distinguished Senator Hope Uzordinma makes do on his promise and adopts Master Oluomachi, vows to sponsor him to priesthood.
The Imo State Governor, Senator Uzodinma was reported to have adopted a 9-year old boy named Joseph Oluomachi Opara. This was as a result of a recent video that went viral on the social media, where the said 9-year old while hawking his petty pear/coconut business along the street, sang a song that touched the people around. In the cause of that, he was videoed and put on the cyber space.
In reacting to the video by the Imo State Governor, he shared on his Twitter handle “In celebration of #FathersDay, I have directed that little 9 year old Master Joseph Oluomachi Opara, the viral Imo State-born singer be contacted as I announce my intentions to adopt him as my own child. He further said, I also undertake to personally take over the full responsibility of his training until he becomes a Reverend Father, which he said is his life ambition. It my expectation and prayer that little Oluoma attains his full potentials in God’s time. God bless Imo State.
We earlier reported that after the singing video went viral, a lot of other well meaning citizens have promised to take care of him with promises of scholarships and sponsorship flying around the cyberspace for the past few days. The Governor of Imo state has just fulfilled his promised.
