“I’ll not go and meet any governor to build my village road in 2023”- Wike

I will not be a governor for eight years and after my tenure in 2023 I go to beg the next governor to come and fix the roads to my community.

The executive governor of Rivers State, his Excellency Barr. Ezenwo Nyesome Wike, has reassured people from his village that all roads leading in and out of the community must be fixed to a standard before his tenure elapses. He made this statement while flagging off a project in the garden City. He said I can not be a governor and later go and ask anyone to come and repair my village road in 2023. I am going to instruct Julius Berger to get to work and ensure all roads are fixed thoroughly. So that when you come to campaign you will not win them over by promising to repair their roads.
