Governor of Kaduna State who was recently re-elected, Nasir El-Rufai, has debunked rumours making the round that he was involved in a ghastly motor accident, leaving him in a state of Coma with his Driver dead.
As you may know, unconfirmed reports spread across Nigeria on Thursday 14, March 2019 that the Kaduna Governor had lost consciousness in a Car accident, and that his driver lost his life during the accident.
El-Rufai thwarting the rumor, said that he woke up after a rare 8-hour sleep only to hear the rumour. He said that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, sponsored the spread of the fake news.
However, he re-iterated that he still remains the permanent nightmare of members of the opposition party.
El-Rufai took to his Facebook wall to disband the hearsay.
“I woke up after a rare 8-hour bout of deep sleep to learn that some bigotry-driven, PDP-affiliated fake news platform has declared my driver dead and my humble self in coma. Both claims are false.”
The Kaduna Governor also said that he appreciated the PDP for allegedly sponsoring the fake news, stating that it only implies that they have reduced their lives, and added it to his.
