Embattled governor of Imo state and Senator-Elect, Rochas Okorocha, has expressed optimism that he would still get his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, despite his name been ignored by the electoral during the process today, Thursday 14, March 2019.

Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, Governor Rochas, who had vied for the position of Representing the people of Imo West Senatorial District in the Upper chambers said that maybe, INEC plans to issue him the certificate in a unique style.

Although, the electoral commission has maintained that the reason it did not issue Okorocha, certificate of return was because results which announced him winner was made under duress, Okorocha insists that the elections were peaceful.
