First Team to Win all their Group Stage Matches in AFCON – Nigeria Super Eagles

Nigeria collected maximum points from their group matches after their 2 – 0 win against Guinea Bissau.

Nigeria had an impressive first half with more possession and goal scoring opportunities, but failed to score within the first half.
They started the second half with the same energy but we’re lucky to out in a goal in the 56th minute by Umar Sadiq and another goal in the 75th minute by Captain, Williams Troost-Ekong.

Nigeria are in group D and ended top of the group, being the first country to win all three group stage matches in the on going AFCON competition in Camroun.

Nigeria started the competition with a 1-0 win against Egypt and a 3-1 win against Sudan and finishing with a 2-0 win against Guinea Bissau.

The Super Eagles have been in good form since the start of the AFCON competition .
They are one of the contenders for the cup and pose a big threat to the other countries.
