ELECTION NEWS: Winner of Nasarawa West Senatorial District Announced

Senator Abdullahi Adamu has been declared winner of Nasarawa West senatorial district.

The former governor of the state just clinched the representative role for the third consecutive time. He defeated his closest Rival from the PDP wing, Alhaji Bala Ahmed Aliyu, who polled 85,615 against Adamu’s 115,298 votes.

Declaring the results, INEC’s Returning officer in the North Central state, Professor Ahmed Yakubu said the total votes cast were 238,000, recognized votes were 232,494 and the nullified votes was 5,506.

Addressing Newsmen in Keffi, the state capital, Prof. Ahmed declared Senator Abdullahi Adamu the Winner of the Nasara West Senatorial District.
