ELECTION NEWS: What Buhari Said After Winning

President Muhammadu Buhari has thanked Nigerians who served as the electorates who saw him emerge as the winner of the Presidential election which held on Saturday.

Speaking during a press briefing at the Presidential campaign complex, Abuja, Buhari said that he was overwhelmed by the support Nigerians shew him through their votes.

Arctic Reporters had earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari won Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party with 15,191,847 votes against Atiku’s 11,262,978 votes, that is a margin of over 4 million votes.

Buhari is quoted as saying:

“First and foremost, I give thanks to God,” President Buhari said. “I thank the millions of Nigerians who voted to re-elect me for the next four years.”
