ELECTION NEWS: We Concede Defeat – Davido Speaks on Results

Ace Nigerian Musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has come out to accede defeat for his party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the Presidential elections which held on Saturday 23, February 2019.

The Singer is one of Nigerian celebrities whose support for the Opposition party is not covert. He was even in the Party’s Presidential Campaign in Port-Harcourt, were he performed and even chanted his support for the PDP and non-allegiance to the APC.

In his Instastory on Tuesday, 26 February 2019, the singer said that ‘he and every PDP supporter tried their best to see to it that Atiku emerges victorious but that one day real change will come to Nigeria’.

Arctic Reporters have gathered so far that President Muhammadu Buhari has pulled a total of 12,025,131 votes as the Presidential candidate of the APC in the Presidential election whereas  Atiku Abubakar got 8,570,758 votes, that is 3,454,373 votes less that Buhari.
