ELECTION NEWS: Violence Breaks Out in Amaechi’s Polling Unit, R/State

Arctic Reporters have just been alerted to gunshots been recorded at Ubima, in Ikwerre Local Goverment Area of Rivers State.

Ubima is the hometown of Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi who also doubles as the Director General, Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organization.

The gunshot was heard in polling unit 14, ward 8 in Ubima, Amaechi’s exact polling unit. When contacted to report on his knowledge of the matter, Amaechi said that he was just getting informed (as at the time of filing this report).

However, the APC staunch-man said he was not surprised. Amaechi claimed that Ubima is 100 percent APC and that the opposition party in the state is responsible for stirring the violence so as to scare APC supporters in the area.
