ELECTION NEWS: How Body Bag Speech Helped APC Win – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has revealed how the body bag speech by Kaduna governor, El-Rufai, led to the foreign observers accepting outcome of the presidential election.

Addressing newsmen today Friday, March 1 in Abuja, national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, said that foreign observers deployed to monitor the elections accepted the results for fear of losing their lives.

You may recall that of February 6, 2o19 Governor El-Rufai during a live interview on NTA said that any foreign delegate who wants to interfere with the Nigeria elections “will go back in body bags”.

Secondus however noted that his party, the PDP was rigged in the election. He said that the PDP is approaching the court, not with evidence from any foreign observer because the so called foreign observers have acceded to the results by INEC, but that they are approaching the court based on numerous facts it has on ground.

The PDP national Chairman said that the international observes only accepted INEC’s pronouncement of results as been free and fair for fear of been killed by the Nigerian Government.

You may recall that the United Kingdom has hailed President Buhari over his victory in the just concluded presidential election.

The UK Minister of State for Africa, Harriett Baldwin, yesterday said the result announced by INEC is in line with tabulations obtained by the civil society Parallel Vote process.
