Ekiti State Governor recovers from Covid-19
The Governor of Ekiti State,Dr. John Kayode Fayemi (JKF) has tested negative for Corona Virus, after testing positive few weeks ago.
You will recall that on July 22, 2020, the Governor in a tweet, through his official twitter handle, announced to the general public that he has tested positive for Covid19 and has gone into self isolation.
Sharing the good news in a tweet on Saturday, the 1st of August, 2020 Governor Fayemi said after 11 days in self isolation, he received news that his Covid-19 repeat test came back negative. He also used the opportunity to sincerely give gratitude to God Almighty for saving his life, and also to his family, his medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity.
He further stated that he will ensure he continues to find better means of fighting and tackling the pandemic.
