DSS Recovers 350 PVC’s from Governor Ishaku’s Aide

Officials of the Department of State Services, DSS, have paraded three has apprehended and paraded three suspects with about 350 permanent voters cards (PVCs) in Jalingo, the Taraba capital.

According to a report by Daily Trust, the Permanent Voter’s Cards were recovered from the residence of a special assistant to Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba state, though his name is withheld.

The suspects were paraded in the state capital yesterday, by the acting state director of the DSS, Tunji Bakari.

Mr. Tunji stated that the arrest was made following a tip-off and collaboration by and with the police and other security agencies.

Other items recovered from the residence of the Special Assistant which is  located at Moyo-gwai area of Jalingo comprise machetes, bow, arrows and other locally made weapons.
