Bwala, Kenneth Okonkwo and others dumps APC as a result of the Muslim-Muslim ticket. After the presidential candidate made known his intended running mate for the 2023 elections, several members of the party sent in their resignations. Including Daniel Bwala and Kenneth Okonkwo.

According to channels tv, Daniel Bwala a legal practitioner has just resigned as a member of the All progressive congress party(APC).

It is no news that the presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu picked a Muslim as his running mate for the 2023 elections. Since this development, people have been dropping their membership for reasons best known to them.

One Daniel Hassan Bwala who is a legal practitioner, author, Adjunct lecturer, arbitrator and a regulatory consultant, who is also a chieftain of the All progressive congress has dropped from the ruling party after Asiwaju (Tinubu) made his announcement.

Recall that the former Lagos state governor had selected Kashim shettima, who was also a governor of Bornu state to be his running mate.

Bwala didn’t take the information well. In a bid to let out his anger, he dumped the ruling party. In his words ” at this point in the history of our nation, all of our focus, energy and effort should be directed towards bringing our people together. Know more about about the chieftain here

Meanwhile other dignitaries are developing interest in dumping APC. Especially since they are not in favour of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

A veteran Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo also sent his resignation to the ruling party over their decision to make the election about religion.

Could it be that the party members do not look out for the wellbeing and opinion of each other?
