Buhari Arrives Daura, to Vote Tomorrow

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived his home state of Katsina ahead of the presidential and national assembly elections expected to hold tomorrow, Saturday 23, February 2019.

Buhari arrived the Umur Musa Yar’adua Airport Katsina at about 3:25pm on Friday. He was accompanied by his wife, Aisha, and his aides.

On arrival, the Number one citizen was welcomed by the state governor, Aminu Masari, Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, members of the National Assembly from the state, heads of federal government agencies and other government functionaries in the NorthWestern State.

At about 3:30pm, the president left Katsina in a helicopter for his hometown, Daura. Buhari will vote at Kofar Baru 003 polling unit, Sarkin Yara ward, tomorrow.

Earlier today, President Buhari asked Nigerians to honour their civic duty as voters by going to the polls tomorrow to vote for the government of their choice.

Furthermore, He appealed that Nigerians vote for the government that will lead the country toward its finest destiny.

Buhari had concluded elections last week Friday at Katsina and proceeded to Daura ahead of the postponed election.

As you may know, the elections were forwarded by one week and will now hold tomorrow Saturday 23, February 2019, alongside national assembly elections.

Whereas, the governorship elections that were earlier scheduled for March 2 have been moved to March 7.
